Saturday evening, September 11, 2010: Dinner at Landgasthof in Magersdorf, Germany

On Saturday evening, September 11, 2010, we drove to a little village called Magersdorf--John said it's not even on the map!  We were bound for the Landgasthof in Magersdorf for an excellent meal...as we had done last year when visiting the Froehliches.  So this was a special request of ours!  What a great dinner and good time!  The meat is very fresh because they have a slaughterhouse right on the same property as the guesthouse!  (Our food did not moo or bleat however!)   The server, pictured in this grouping, comes around and tells us what the available meat choices of the evening are.  I had my usual Rouladen (rolled beef with bacon and onion inside), and John had lamb.  It was a nice evening of conversation in English and "auf Deutsch" and great food and laughter!
