On Monday, September 06, 2010, John and I walked over to Anja's to share breakfast that she'd set out for us. We then loaded up the puppies and headed for Kilmacrenan, where we visited a thatched cottage that had been (and is being) restored.: Lurgyvale Cottage.
Kilmacrenan (Irish: Cill Mhic nÉanáin or Cill Mhic Réanáin ) is a small village located in County Donegal on the north west coast of Ireland. The village had a population of 430 in the 2002 census, however the village's population has increased rapidily over the last decade as a result of people leaving Letterkenny and living in the countryside and commute to work daily.
Kilmacrenan is also the name of the parish and Barony in which Kilmacrenan village is situated.
From there, we went to Dunfanaghy.
